Lake Blanche/Sundial Peak- A great local classic, the Lake Blanche trail is a great intermediate hike with fantastic views and fun water features. With 900 vertical feet of elevation gain, this trail will get your heart rate up without being too strenuous.

Doughnut Falls – A great Big Cottonwood hike for the family. This gentle hike ends at a spectacular hidden waterfall surrounded by a wooded oasis. Kids can easily make the objective and will be sure to love the sense of exploration.

Nature-101

Mount Olympus- A challenging but rewarding Salt Lake City classic. With an elevation gain of 4,000 feet and difficult footing, Mount Olympus is for the daring and experienced, but it also boasts some of the best views of Salt Lake City Valley.

Cecret Lake- A classic. This Little Cottonwood favorite takes hikers through Albion Basin to Cecret Lake. A favorite among families for its easy access and stunning scenery, this hike can be crowded…but there are picnic spots aplenty.

Waterfall Canyon- Above Ogden, this family  hike is best in spring when the waterfall is at its peak. Enjoy views of the city and the might Wasatch.
